The TASCAM 244 Portastudio is a 4 channel multitrack cassette recorder released in 1982. You can record 4-tracks on a single cassette. Also has 4 channel mixer section with 4 Mic / Line inputs. Also records with DBX noise reduction. We recorded hundreds of hours of demos on this baby and it landed us our record deal.
